Each cottage at Frolander Bay Beach Retreat offers complete privacy and is situated on the Sunshine Coast only 15 minutes south of Powell River. It's only minutes away from the Powell River Canoe Route and the 180 Kilometer Sunshine Coast Hiking Trail. Or if you like Golf, Myrtle Point Golf Course is only 10 minutes away. From Powell River you may wish to take BC ferries to Texada Island where you will find A Last Resort Beachfront Cabin perched just above the shoreline in Gillies Bay. Historic Lund is about 40 minute drive where you can explore the Okeover Inlet and take a lunch break at the Laughing Oyster restaurant or take a water taxi to Savary Island, known as the Hawaii of the north. Lund is also the gateway to Desolation Sound and a marine park so there's a hub of activity to enjoy there.The area is offers art and music festivals and is a popular route for tourists to travel while on the circle tour of the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver Island.
